36 Universities in Iran Join the Calling for Nationwide Student Demonstrations on Sunday May 15th, 2011 / لیست اولیه محل های تجمع دانشجویان اعتصابی در ٢۵ اردیبهشت

Following the calling for nationwide student protests on Sunday May 15th, 2011 [25 Ordibehesht, 1390], by student activists at Tehran University and Amir Kabir University and the support by a significant number of other universities, the Facebook page associated with this spontaneous student uprising published a preliminary list (on May 11th, 2011) of universities  that have announced their support for this calling and plan to attend the nationwide student demonstrations.
In a statement addressed to the supporters of the Green movement and organizers of the nationwide student protest, the Facebook page associated with this student uprising responded to a number of open questions and criticism regarding 1) why the identity of those behind the 25 Ordibehesht Facebook Page was unknown 2) whether the timing of the nationwide demonstrations was effective given the recent  infighting amongst coup government officials. In response to the first criticism, those behind the 25 Ordibehehsht Facebook page sited security reason and their intent to first and foremost protect the lives of student activists who have in the past paid the heaviest price, and secondly ensure that the planned protests are not crushed by the coup government, as has been prevalent in the past, for not disclosing the identities of those involved in the spontaneous student uprising. As for the timing of the demonstrations, the organizers reminded everyone that the current protest first began from within the student movement demanding that the government put an end to the recent rise in tensions as a result of an increased security atmosphere on campuses across the nation. The organizers reiterated that the objectives of the nationwide demonstrations are therefore to support this recent protest by students to the increase security at universities by the coup government and as such has nothing to do with the internal conflicts within the current regime.
The 25 Ordibehesht Facebook Page stated that at the time it published its statement, 36 universities had added their support to the nationwide student demonstrations on Sunday May 25th, 2011, providing the following guidelines based on numerous meetings with various student activists:
1. After much debate the official time and location for the nationwide demonstrations was decided as follows: Time: 11 – 11:30am, Location: the open courtyards on campus. A number of universities have announced specific times and locations, provided in list of attending universities below.
2. The organizers reiterate that the main objective is to boycott classes on May 15th and gatherings should only take place at universities that have the potential to organize such events.
3. Some universities have opted to also launch a hunger strike on this day, protesting the sub-par on campus Food Services, a decision that is left to the discretion of each university.
4. Given the independent nature of the student movement, with regards to support by other segments of society (both inside and outside Iran) and suggestions that Iranians abroad also organize demonstrations on this day, while any support is welcome, the organizers would like to announce that no specific plans have been made in this area.
5.  The dormitories at the universities are ideal  for disseminating information regarding the May 15th demonstrations. We ask therefore that in addition to online activities, while taking the necessary security measures, all students begin creating awareness within their respective campuses.
6. We ask all students to send any announcements regarding demonstrations at their campuses  via email at ordibehesht25@gmail.com and to all other Green media outlets.
We thank all media outlets that have supported us in the dissemination of this important news and in doing so chosen not to abandoned the student movement during these challenging days.  The preliminary list of universities planning to attend the nationwide student demonstrations on Sunday May 15th, 2011 is as follows: (please note that in the event that the time and location have not been announced, students are asked to gather between 11:00 to 11:30am in the main courtyards on campus.)

It is worth mentioning that a group of former Ministry of Oil (recently merged with the Department of Energy) employees, have also announced their support of the May 15th, 2011 nationwide student demonstrations stating: ” While supporting the protest movement by the students, we strongly condemn the authoritarian and dictatorial behavior by the regime and reject the ineffective policies of the current government.  Freedom of thought and expression is our indisputable right. As such we also strongly condemn the cowardly behavior of the illegitimate government and their continued silence in the face of outrageous crimes by government officials behind the walls of notorious prisons in Iran, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of all prisoners of conscience.”

لیست اولیه محل های تجمع دانشجویان اعتصابی در ٢۵ اردیبهشت

در پی اعلام حمایتهای دانشجویانِ سبز دانشگاههای کشور از فراخوان فعالان دانشجوییِ دانشگاههای تهران و امیرکبیر برای برگزاری اعتصاب سراسری و اعتراضات همزمان در روز ٢۵ اردیبهشت، صفحه فیس بوک این خیزش خودجوشِ دانشجویی، در اولین بیانیه رسمی خود که روز ٢۱ اردیبهشت آنرا منتشر ساخت، ضمن تقدیر از دانشجویانِ سبزِ حمایت کننده از این فراخوان، لیست اولیۀ دانشگاههایی که اعلام حضور و حمایت کرده اند را انتشار داد

به گزارش صفحۀ فیس بوکِ این خیزش دانشجویی، در بیانیۀ فوق الذکر، همچنین مواردی را با حامیان جنبش سبز و همچنین برگزارکنندگان مراسم روز یکشنبه (بیست و پنج اردیبهشت) در میان گذاشته و برخی انتقادات را مورد پاسخ قرار داده است

متن این بیانیه و همچنین در ادامۀ آن، لیست دانشگاههای حامی و برگزارکنندۀ مراسم بیست و پنجم اردیبهشت ماه، به شرح زیر است

به نام پروردگار یکتا

دانشجویان در تاریخچه مبارزات ضد استبدادی و آزادیخواهانه یک صد ساله ایران زمین همواره پیشتاز و محرک اصلی مبارزات بوده اند. در ابتداء شروع کار فکر نمی کردیم این طرح با چنین استقبال کم نظیری مواجه گردد.از یک سو با کم لطفی بسیاری از دوستان و ناهمراهی ها و از سوی دیگر با موج استقبال گرم دانشجویان و دریافت ایمیل ها و ارتباطات فعالین دانشجویی دانشگاههای سراسر کشور با صفحه فیس بوک بیست و پنجم اردیبهشت مواجه گشتیم. گرچه ما تمام نگرانی خود را در بیانیه ششم تیم تهران منعکس نمودیم ولی باز در اینجا تاکید می کنیم و هشدار می دهیم که در صورت عدم حمایت رسمی مشاورین سران دربند جنبش سبز به عنوان پر نفوذترین اشخاص در لایه های مختلف دانشجویی از این موج فزاینده اعتراضی این حرکت به نتیجه مطلوب دست نخواهد یافت.

دو نکته مورد اشاره از سوی منتقدان و ناهمراهان این حرکت در دلیل عدم همراهی با این حرکت ، ماهیت نامشخص تیم هدایت کنندگان و دیگری عدم زمان مناسب برای برگزاری این مراسم که مصادف با تشدید اختلاف و دو دستگی در داخل دولت کودتا می باشد ذکر شده است . در پاسخ نقد اول باید به استحضار دوستان برسانیم که بیشترین ضربه را جنبش دانشجویی از عدم رعایت نکات امنیتی تا کنون خورده است و متاسفانه به علت رسوخ غیر قابل باور نهادهای امنیتی در تشکیلات رسمی و غیر رسمی دانشجویی هر حرکت اعتراضی به سرعت شناسایی و پیش از برزو به شدت سرکوب می گردد. در پاسخ نقد دوم نیز باید این نکته فراموش نشود که این اعتراض دانشجویی در ابتدا فشاری بر دولت برای پایان دادن به فضای دهشتناک امنیتی در دانشگاه ها و پویایی مجدد جنبش دانشجویی می باشد و قصد برگزار کنندگان خارج از این موضوع نمی باشد که در آن مناسبات داخلی دولت سنجیده شود

تا لحظه تنظیم این بیانیه فعالین دانشجویی و بعضاً تشکلات دانشجویی بیش از ٣۶ دانشگاه در قالب ٣۵ بیانیه مختلف از فراخوان اعتراض سراسری در روز بیست و پنج اردیبهشت حمایت نموده اند که پوسترها و بیانیه ها در صفحه فیس بوک و رسانه های سبز موجود می باشد. برای هماهنگی بیشتر میان کلیه دانشگاهها مواردی را که در جلسات و نشست های بیست و پنج اردیبهشتی ها به تصویب رسیده است به استحضار دانشجویان عزیز و اساتید محترم می رسانیم

۱- در بررسی ها و جلسات مختلف ۲۵ اردیبهشتی ها زمان رسمی اعلام شده برای تجمع در دانشگاهها ساعت ۱۱ تا ۱۱٫۳۰ اعلام گشته و مکان آن صحن علنی دانشگاهها ذکر شده است .لکن برخی از دانشگاهها در بیانیه های خود زمان و مکان خاصی را اعلام نموده اند که در لیست انتهایی بیانیه به اختصار و موردا ذکر شده است

۲- باز هم تاکید می کنیم برنامه اصلی تعطیلی کلاس های درسی در این روز می باشد و تجمع تنها در دانشگاههایی که پتانسیل این اعتراض را دارند باید انجام گردد

۳- برخی از دانشگاهها اعتصاب غذا در این روز را نیز در برنامه خود در اعتراض به وضعیت نامناسب غذا اعلام نموده اند که این مورد نیز کاملا اختیاری می باشد

۴- در خصوص همراهی دیگر اقشار جامعه و همچنین پیشنهاد برای حمایت ایرانیان خارج از کشور در برگزاری تجمع به حمایت از این روز پیشنهاداتی دریافت داشته ایم که با احترام به این پیشنهادها چون حرکت دانشجویی را بسیار مستقل می دانیم این حمایت ها را ابتکاری دانسته و ضمن استقبال از هر گونه حمایت اقشار جامعه چه در داخل کشور و چه در خارج از کشور اعلام می داریم که برنامه ای خاص برای اینگونه حمایت ها نداریم

۵- در روزهای باقی مانده فضای خوابگاههای دانشجویی فرصت مناسبی برای رایزنی با فعالان دانشجویی و پخش تراکت و اطلاع رسانی می باشد و شنبه فرصت طلایی و آخرین فرصت برای تمامی فعالان دانشجویی برای آگاه سازی عموم دانشجویان و اساتید برای دعوت به شرکت در این مراسم می باشد. پس لازم است که فعالان دانشجویی به تبلیغات به در فضای مجازی کفایت ننموده و همانند بسیاری از دانشگاههای دیگر ضمن حفظ نکات امنیتی اقدام به اطلاع رسانی نمایند

۶- از دانشجویان درخواست می شود اخبار و گزارش های خود (پیرامون برگزاری مراسم در دانشگاهها) را به آدرس الکترونیکی ordibehesht25(AT) gmail.com و همزمان به سایت های خبری ارسال نمایند

در اینجا باز از تمام رسانه هایی که ما را در این مدت همراهی خبری نمودند کمال تشکر را می نمائیم و امیدواریم در این راه دشوار جنبش دانشجویی را تنها نگذاشته و یاری نمایند. در پایان لیست دانشگاههایی که تا کنون فعالان دانشجویی آنها با ارسال بیانیه و تماس با ما اعلام آمادگی خود را برای اعتراض در این روز اعلام نموده اند را با ذکر زمان و مکان تجمع ها بیان می داریم ، بدیهی است در صورت ذکر نشدن زمان در بیانیه ها زمان اصلی تجمع یازده الی یازده و نیم ظهر بوده و مکان آن صحن علنی دانشگاهها و مراکزی خواهد بود که در تجمعات عموما در آنجا شکل می گیرد

لازم به ذکر است در کنار دانشجویان، منابع خبری دیگری نیز، از حمایت و همراهیِ جمعی از کارکنان وزارت سابق نفت – که به تازگی در وزارت نیرو ادغام شده – از خیزش ٢۵ اردیبهشت گزارش داده و به نقل از بیانیۀ آنها خاطرنشان کردند “ضمن حمایت از حرکت اعتراضی دانشجویان به رفتار مستبدانه و دیکتاتوری حاکم بر کشور اعتراض شدید خود را به تصمیمات غیر کارشناسانه دولت غیر منتخب حاکم اعلان می داریم .ما با شعار آزادی اندیشه و بیان حق مسلم ماست ، رفتار غیر انسانی و ناجوانمردانه با زندانیان عقیدتی و سیاسی از قشرهای مختلف جامعه را مذموم و سکوت وقیحانه مسوولین در برابر جنایتهایی را که در زندانها علیرغم افشاگریهای عزیزان دربند انجام میشود را به شدت محکوم می کنیم و خواستار آزادی بدون قید و شرط کلیه زندانیان سیاسی هستیم
