On Tuesday, January 4 2010 Late Mohammad Reza shah’s son, Alireza Pahlavi has reportedly committed suicide at his home in Boston.
In a statement published by the family at Reza Pahlavis’ official website, “Alireza Pahlavi like millions of other Iranian youth, was sad and hurt about the inadmissible forced upon his beloved country.”
This statement was signed by Reza Pahlavi, Farah Pahlavi, Farahnaz Pahlavi, Yasmin Pahlavi, Noor Pahlavi and Iman Pahlavi.
Alireza Pahlavi was the third son of Mohammad Reza and Farah Pahlavi, Iran’s last shah, and was born in 1967.
The statement published by Reza Pahlavi’s website states: “the painful memory his beloved father and sisters’ death” have never left Alireza’s sight.
According to Farah Pahlavi’s website, Alireza Pahlavi was born in Tehran. He accompanied his family in the exile from Iran and completed his high school in Massachusetts. He received his masters in Ancient Iran Studies at Columbia university and followed up his studies in the field of Philosophy and Iran Studies was forced to leave Iran in a Massachusetts high school ended America. In 1992 his degree in Ancient Studies from Columbia University and followed his studies by Iranian Studies and Philosophy at Harvard.
Leila Pahlavi, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi’s youngest child had also committed suicide in 2002 at the age of 31 at a hotel in London.
Statement published by the Pahlavi family on their website shows Alireza was suffering from depression like his sister: “He tried to overcome these internal crises, but did succeed.”
“Once again we mourn with all mothers, fathers and relatives of the victims of these dark ages.”

این بیانیه را رضا پهلوی، فرح پهلوی، فرحناز پهلوی، یاسمین پهلوی، نور پهلوی، ایمان پهلوی امضا کرده اند
علیرضا پهلوی سومین فرزند آخرین شاه ایران و فرح پهلوی، متولد سال 1345 بود
در بیانیه وبسایت رضا پهلوی آمده است که “خاطره دردناک مرگ پدر و خواهر عزیزش” هرگز علیرضا پهلوی را رها نکرده بود
به نوشته وبسایت فرح پهلوی، علیرضا پهلوی در تهران متولد شد. او که همراه خانواده اش مجبور به ترک ایران شده بود تحصیلات دبیرستانی را در ایالت ماساچوست آمریکا به پایان برد. او در سال 1992 در رشته مطالعات ایران باستان از دانشگاه کلمبیا فوق لیسانس گرفت و در رشته ایران شناسی و فلسفه در دانشگاه هاروارد به ادامه تحصیل پرداخت

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
