Seventeen religious minorities, 15 Kurdish citizens and activists, 3 Azeri citizens and activists, 4 students, 4 student activists, 1 labor rights activist and 44 citizens have been detained during the time period of June 22, 2010 through July 22, 2010.
RAHANA: There has been a decrease in the number of political and civil rights activist detainees in this time period in comparison to the previous month. A total of 88 individuals were detained during the time period of June 22, 2010 through July 22, 2010.
Many citizens were detained following the explosions that left many injured or dead in Zahedan. On Saturday, July 22nd, Ahmadreza Radan stated that the police forces have detained 40 individuals who were believed to be “security risks.”
Considering the situation in this area and the previous cases of human rights violations, it appears that the individuals have been arrested without a valid proof.
Similar to the previous months, Kurdish citizens were detained at a very high rate which indicates the ongoing human rights violations in Kurdistan.
Religious Minorities have also been detained at a very high rate. Seventeen have been detained during the 30 day period. Most of the detainees in this category include Baha’i and Dervish citizens.
Eighty eight people have been detained during this period and only one has been released. Seven detainees have been sentenced or have been transferred to prison in order to serve their sentences.
Nasrin Ghadiri, Sima Rajabian, Sousan Tebiyanian and Sara Mahboubi are the four women detained during this time period. Sara Mahboubi was later released on bail.

بازداشت فعالین سیاسی و مدنی در تیر ماه جاری نسبت به ماه گذشته بر اساس آمارهای مستند موجود کمتر از ماه گذشته بوده است و تعداد فعالین بازداشتی در این ماه بالغ بر ۸۸ تن میرسد
انفجارهای زاهدان و کشته و مجروج شدن شهروندان در سیستان و بلوچستان، دستگیریهای گستردهای را در این شهر به دنبال داشته است،. شنبه ۲۶ تیر حمدرضا رادان با حضور در زاهدان اعلام کرد نیروی انتظامی۴۰ نفر را که قصد ایجاد «ناامنی» در شهر زاهدان را داشتند دستگیر کرده است
با توجه به وضعیت این منطقه و موارد گستردهای که از نقض حقوق بشر در این منطقه وجود، دارد به نظر میرسد بازداشت این شهروندان بدون دلیل و مستندات قانونی صورت گرفته باشد
فعالین کرد نیز به مانند ماههای گذشته یکی از بیشترین آمارهای بازداشت را در این ماه به خود اختصاص دادهاند که این مسأله باز هم نگاه جدی به وضعیت حقوق بشر در مناطق کردنشین را در صدر فعالیتهای حقوق بشری قرار میدهد
اقلیتهای مذهبی نیز ماه پر بازداشتی را پشت سر گذاشته و جمعا ۱۷ تن از آنان بازداشت شدند. دراویش و بهاییان دارای بیشتری بازداشتها در این زمینه هستند
از ۸۸ بازداشتی ماه گذشته تنها خبر آزادی یک تن گزارش شده است و هفت نفر یا حکم دریافته کرده و یا برای اجرای حکم به زندان منتقل شدهاند
در میان فعالین بازداشت شده ماه گذشته نام چهار زن به نامهای سارا محبوبی، نسرین قدیری، سیما رجبیان و سوسن تبیانیان به چشم میخورد که از اینان سارا محبوبی با تودیع قرار وثیقه از زندان آزاد شده است
