RAHANA- Mohammad Ashrafi, a member of the Committee to Establish Free Labor Organization in Iran was summoned by phone to the the Interrogation Branch #3 at the Revolutionary Court and asked to appear immediately in order to discuss the case filed against him on February 11, 2010. Upon presenting himself to this office on Tuesday, Ashrafi was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location. His whereabouts remain unclear to date.
Mohammad Ashrafi was arrested while attending an event commemorating Labor Day at Laleh Park last year. This is not the first time Ashrafi has been arrested. He had been arrested previously and sentenced by the Revolutionary Court in Tehran to one year imprisonment based on similar charges.
News of Ashrafi’s arrest coincides with increasingly more pressure by security forces on labor activists over the past few days. Many of these activists have been harassed and sent to jail under false pretexts.

به گزارش سایت دانشجویان سوسیالیست، محمد اشرفی پس از آنکه روز سه شنبه مورخ اول تیرماه به شعبه ۳ بازرسی دادگاه انقلاب مراجعه کرده بود، دستگیر و از آنجا به مکان نامعلومی انتقال داده شده است و تاکنون از سرنوشت و مکان نگهداری وی خبری در دست نیست.
محمد اشرفی پیش تر در پی مراسم بزرگداشت روز جهانی کارگر در پارک لاله در سال ۸۸ بازداشت شده بود و پیشتر از آن نیز، بابت این اتهام به تحمل یکسال حبس تعزیری از سوی دادگاه انقلاب شهر تهران محکوم شده بود.
خبر دستگیری محمد اشرفی در حالیست که طی روزهای اخیر فعالین کارگری از سوی نیروهای امنیتی و حامیان سرمایه تحت فشارهای شدید قرار گرفته اند، که تعدادی از فعالین کارگری به بهانه های واهی و مختلف روانه بازداشت و زندانهای نگهبانان سرمایه میشوند و بیش از همیشه تحت فشار و تهدید قرار میگیرند.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
