RAHANA: Workers of long distance telecommunication factory in Iran state they have been renewing their insurance by their own cost for the past three years.
ILNA reported, a long distance telecommunication factory worker says: since the begging of crisis three years ago, workers have been paying seven percent out of pocket to extend their insurance plans. This is a share which had to be paid by the factory owners but has been neglected for three consecutive years.
He added: “the employer has not taken any action towards paying his share equal to 23 percent of monthly premium.”
According to social security and labor laws of Iran, the monthly equivalent of 30 percent of an insured worker’s paycheck should go towards their health insurance where the employer and workers share would respectively fall at 7 and 23 percent.
He also talked about lack of payment on factory workers’ paychecks and added: “Last week each worker was paid 300,000 Tomans out of 7 million Toamn that each of them were owed.”
He said: despite all laws passed demanding past due payments and pensions to be paid and resuming production at all factories, we have not seen any changes on this factory as of yet.
Telecommunication factory and it’s 700 workers are located in province of Fars, where they have gone under crisis since the company’s privatization.

رهانا: کارگران کارخانه صنایع مخابراتی راه دور ایران، میگویند: در سه سال گذشته دفترچه بیمههای خود را با پرداخت هزینه شخصی تمدید کردهاند
به گزارش ایلنا، یکی از کارگران کارگران کارخانه صنایع مخابراتی راه دور ایران (ITI) می گوید: در سه سالی که از بحرانی شدن وضع کارخانه میگذرد، کارگران با پرداخت سهم هفت درصدی حق بیمه خود نسبت به تمدید دفترچه بیمههای خود و ثبت سوابق خود اقدام کردهاند
به گفته این کارگر، به دلیل توقف فعالیت کارخانه و خودداری کارفرما از پرداخت مطالبات کارگران این سهم هقت درصدی حق با هزینه شخصی و از جیب کارگران پرداخت شدهاست
وی گفت: در تمامی این مدت کارفرما هیچ اقدامی برای پرداخت سهم ۲۳ درصدی خود انجام ندادهاست
بر اساس قوانین کار و تامین اجتماعی ایران، ماهانه معادل ۳۰ درصد از حقوق هرکارگر بیمه شده بابت خدمات بیمهای و درمانی در نظر گرفته میشود که سهم کارگر و کارفرما به ترتیب ۷ و ۲۳ درصد است
این کارگر همچنین از ادامه پرداخت نشدن مطالبات کارگران این کارخانه خبر داد و گفت: آخرین بار در هفته گذشته ۳۰۰ هزار تومان از طلب هفت میلیون تومانی هر کارگر بطور علی الحساب پرداخت شد
وی گفت: با وجود چندین مصویه هیات دولت مبنی بر پرداخت مطالبات معوقه، بازنشستگی کارگران و از سرگیری تولید در کارخانه صنایع مخابراتی راه دور ایران هنوز هیچ تغییری در وضع این کارخانه ایجاد نشدهاست
کارخانه صنایع مخابراتی راه دور ایران با ۷۰۰ کارگر در استان فارس قرار دارد که درپی واگذاری به بخش خصوصی دچار بحران شدهاست
