مدیرکل دفتر امور کودکان و نوجوانان سازمان بهزیستی کشور در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار ایلنا درباره آغاز طرح عفاف و حجاب در مهدکودک‌ها با اشاره به اینکه 80 درصد رشد کیفی مغز و 70 درصد شخصیت انسان در دوران خردسالی شکل می‌گیرد، گفت: طبیعی است که هر چقدر بتوانیم، آموزه‌های غیرمستقیم دینی به کودکانمان بدهیم، اثرات یادگیری آن در بلندمدت بیشتر است.

محمدحسین جوادی در این باره تاکید کرد: آموزه‌های ما نباید به صورت مفاهیم انتزاعی باشد به این دلیل که کودکان تصویری از عفاف ندارند، بلکه باید در غالب بازی و شعرهای کودکانه باشد.

وی درباره بخش دیگری از این طرح گفت: 55 هزار نفر از مربیان و مدیران مهدهای کودک در برنامه‌های آموزشی فرهنگ حجاب و پوشش شرکت داده شده‌اند.

وی هم چنین در پایان با بیان اینکه تنها 20 درصد از کودکان ما از خدمات مهدکودک‌ها استفاده می‌کنند، گفت: در نتیجه ما تنها می‌توانیم این خدمات و برنامه‌ریزی‌ها را برای طیف محدودی از جامعه ارایه دهیم ولی ما حجاب را تنها برای یک طیف نمی‌خواهیم بلکه می‌خواهیم در سطح کشور گسترش یابد پس نباید از 80 درصد دیگر قافل شویم.
