In this situation where Iranian state television and radio are exercising censorship in all of their news programs; we political and journalists prisoners held in detention and ward 350 of Evin prison have been banned from accessing newspapers and publications in Iran and especially those belong to reformers and intellectuals. We have been informed that your Excellency has been invited by the Islamic regime to visit Tehran in the next few days. Our smallest request, especially from a large number of prisoners who have been arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned during the post presidential elections in June of last year, with unrealistic, fabricated allegations and threats; is to have your Excellency visit political prisons, ward 350 of Evin prison and meet and chat with prisoners in private.
This will give your Excellency the opportunity to precisely be aware of violation of basic freedom principles, democracy and justice. In addition you will be more aware of mass human rights violation especially during the time of arrests, interrogations, forcing to confess, and systematic trails under severe physical and emotional pressure and get more familiar with special conditions of detention centers, prisons and especially ward 350 of Evin prison.
