Seyed Kouhzad Esmaeili who is currently serving a 4-month prison term in Lakan prison in Rasht, has been tried on the new charge of insulting the Leader and propaganda against the system and sentenced to three years imprisonment.
According to Iran Green Voice, Seyed Kouhzad Esmaeili was arrested on November 4, 2009, but was released 8 days later from the Intelligence Miistry’s detention center. However, only one day after his release he was rearrested to serve his 4-month prison term issued back in 2007 on charges of spreading lies.
